Never mind Cream, forget The Traveling Wilburys and Blind Faith. This would have been the most awesome supergroup ever: Jimi Hendrix, Paul McCartney, and Miles Davis. And according to NME, it actually was a consideration in 1969. Miles and Jimi invited him, but Paul was on holiday and didn’t get the telegram and Jimi died a few months later. Spend the rest of your day (life?) trying to imagine what that would have sounded like.
